World's tallest hotel
Rotana, which is set to open the world's tallest hotel – the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana – in Dubai in mid-December expects not less than 80 per cent occupancy levels, said a senior executive of the company.
"We are very proud to be managing this landmark property. There will be special opening rates for January 2010," Omer Z Kaddouri, Senior Vice-President, UAE, of Rotana, told Emirates Business.
He said the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, a 72-floor tower structure, 333 metres high, would be a dramatic addition to the skyline of Sheikh Zayed Road.
"Rose Rayhaan is the second property to open under the Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana brand. This alcohol-free option reflects our respect for the culture and beliefs of our guests and our dedication to fostering a new Arabia in today's world," said Daniel Mathew, General Manager of the new property.
The hotel offers 481 rooms, suites and penthouses with designs that complement the values of Arabian culture, he added.
Each of the rooms will have its own kitchenette and internet connection. Rose Rayhaan features a wide choice of food and beverage venues and the latest technology in its eight meeting rooms. The hotel management firm operates 31 hotels with 7,800 rooms as of October 20.
