Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cultural cooperation with China's Ministry of Culture.

"The MOU is part of ADACH's strategy to promote cultural diplomacy and dialogue among different civilisations and people," said Shaikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of ADACH.

The MOU was signed by Shaikh Sultan and Cai Wu, the Chinese Minister of Culture, when General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited the People's Republic of China in August. Shaikh Sultan was a member of the Crown Prince's delegation.

Shaikh Sultan highlighted Abu Dhabi's intense efforts that focus on the preservation and promotion of UAE culture and heritage. The MOU also expressed Abu Dhabi's readiness to cooperate with China.
