Education must be prioritised
Education is the most important - and one of the most expensive - investments that a family can make in its children. A good education can help secure a healthy and wealthy future for the next generation.
So it is necessary that over 700 universities, training institutions and nurseries will need to qualify for an Education Services Permit to operate in Dubai from this academic year. The aim of the system is to raise the quality of education in Dubai and create "a framework within which education providers can operate & so that parents and students can be confident they are getting the best service possible," according to Mohammad Darwish, Chief of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority's Regulation and Compliance Commission.
The permit, which will have to be displayed by the institution and show its fee structure among other things, will assure families they are getting the best value for their money - and education for their children.
